Tazria- Metzoiro - Life and death at the tongues tip

 

Tazria – Metzoiro – How we come into this world, and how we can attain eternity.

 

In these two parshes we read this coming Shabbat, incredibly deep secrets are revealed to the one who is ready to dive deeply.

Secrets of how souls are selected and embedded in an embryo, how a lash of the tongue can kill a whole family forever, and how a true and kind word can save a world.

 

It is as is written in Koiheles: Life and death sit at the tip of the tongue.

How did G0d create the world?

With 10 Utterances, 10 Words.

Words.

Words make Worlds and Words destroy Worlds.

And HE, blessed be HE and  HIS NAME gave clear rules, so it will be in our own mouths´ and mind´s power to choose life or death.  

For: Every human is a world of their own.

And we see this today again, every day.

So, G0d has a ledger for every person, across all of history. And every single word is being recorded. Forget the Chinese, forget social media, forget Google.

Every word we say and every of our deeds we do is recorded, and will be shown to us at the moment of our heavenly trial. And according to our words and deeds, we will be judged and receive award and punishment.

Now, for all the folks who still think of Yisroels G0d as being a terrible, revengeful entity, Chass Ve Sholoim, think twice.

There are many stories about people who said and did very bad things, and nevertheless, upon sincerely rescinding and being contrite, were forgiven.

Most famous ones : Koirach´s Sons,  King David, Chiskiyahu the King, Menashe the King (although here, there are some serious discussions, how far the forgiveness went).

The Midrasch and our commentators are aplenty with such stories of forgiveness for true Teshuva.

 

We can see furthermore the fact that this world and the invisible higher worlds are intricately interconnected, and that time is a dimension we hardly grasp. It is definitively NOT linear, let alone unidirectional.

Our words and actions impact the source of life, and from there bounce back into our timelines and create the patterns we call experience. There are clear rules, but they are coded such that only the one who sincerely strives will be able to get some grasp on them.

One rule is surely, to learn to use clean language, and NOT be a “natural person”. Because a soul is born into this world, in order to change and grow. And change and grow it only can by moving AWAY from its natural tendencies to follow the cravings of the body and the five senses.

Where does uncontrolled following the cravings lead? Just look around you! Confusion, blood, gore, depression and death.

Following the holy Toire´s path, every sense, every craving, every action is directed towards growing and cleaning the soul. It is directed by knowing that all there is comes from THE ONE, and HE gave us a clear instruction manual we can follow. This manual is the holy Toire.
