Shavua Toiv,
In light of current events, what I am about to tell you hopefully will send you some light on your life's journey.
I have asked this question in the parshah Beshallach, a very difficult and important question:
How can it be that, long before it becomes clear that the children of Yisroel will wander in the desert for 40 years, this is already written in this parshah?
I wrote this question to our revered Rav Chaim M. Levi Schlit'a. And he invited me to come to the shmuess between Mincha and Maariv on Shabbos. Because he will answer this very question there!
Now the Rav is certainly preparing for such a shmuess, and he chose this topic before I asked him.
What do we learn from this? The EIBISHTER, blessed be HE and HIS name, brings the solution to a life problem before a person even realizes the problem.
And: HE, blessed be HE and HIS name, listens to and watches us very carefully. And HE loves us, and sometimes, when we need it, He sends us little signs of affection, be it in the form of pleasant things like this, or unpleasant things like an illness, an accident, a holy sefer falling to the ground, or even just not having our wallet with us when we go shopping.
It is up to us to notice these signs, appreciate them, accept them, take them seriously and then adapt our behavior accordingly.
For me, this event is a clear signal, an encouragement to continue learning and, if possible, to intensify it. Because learning has effects in heaven that we find very difficult to understand, but which are thousands of times stronger than any terror or terrorist.
And of course, S.G.w., there will be another learning log this week.
In that sense, good week, and be mindful, and do good deeds, learn, control your urges, etc.
Hatzloche and Broche
Yoichonon
